Tankut Öktem: Kristal Çağ Kapılarında [Tankut Öktem: At the Doors of the Crystal Era]

We designed a retrospective exhibition for the prominent Turkish sculptor Tankut Öktem at the Atatürk Cultural Center (AKM ), Istanbul, 2021.

 

The exhibition presented the artist's original monuments, a selection from his archive, as well as relevant newspapers, magazines, and exhibition catalogs from 1960-1990. The exhibition introduced Tankut Öktem, best known for his colossal square monuments, to younger generations, and this collaborative work honored his legacy.
